The high plane trees, the paved alleys, the wooden bridges that link the banks of Arapitsa River, the sounds of the falling waters and the birds peeping as well as the perfumes of every season of the year compose an idyllic image in the small forest of Agios Nikolaos. Just four kilometers outside Naoussa, Agios Nikolaos is the ideal place for recreation and walk. Wooden benches, small springs and exercise ground are surrounding this splendid place. The internal and external walls of the small church of Agios Nikolaos, which is found in the center of the small forest, are finely adorned with old murals.
