Laskaras fort

The circular Laskaras for at the top of the hill called Tourkovouni, was built by Ali Pasha in 1807, to the plans of a French engineer. The fort had no doors, and the troops used ladders to climb up to the battlements. The for which can be reached by way of a difficult path, has a wonderful view of the Ambracian gulf.
