Kamariotissa

The first contact with the island is at Kamariotissa, built in the northwest of the island, with its port receiving ships from Alexandroupoli, Kavala, and Limnos, alongside with local fishing boats. The two roads to visit the island start from this village, which owes its name to the icon of Our Lady of Kamares.
