Folklore Museum of Samothrace

The Folklore Museum of Samothrace was founded by initiative of the municipality and is housed in the centre of Chora, next to the square. In this two-story mansion there is a representation of a Samothrace household with various items like utensils of “Kehagias”, the island’s stock-farmer, agricultural tools, traditional costumes, trunks, woven items, even rare icons of last century coming from village churches.
