Megalithic Tomb at Roussa

At Roussa, an area in the West part of Evros Prefecture, there are several megalithic tombs constructed by the first inhabitants of the region, the Thracians, out of huge stones that date back to the Iron Age (ca 1000-900 BC). Frescos depicting human forms found on rock faces in the same area also date back to the same era.
