Above the green-clad slopes of Vermio, at an altitude of 1.400-2.052 meters and at a distance of 18 kilometers from Naoussa, the ski center of Tria-Pente Pigadia is found. The abundant water sources of the region, which contribute to the growth of an exuberant vegetation, its altitude and its favorable climatic conditions, classify Tria-Pente Pigadia as one of the best ski centers of the hellenic territory. A fully organized ski faculty functions at the center as well as a shop for renting ski equipment. There is a hotel with a capacity of 34 rooms, while the ski resort has a potentiality of hosting 80 persons. Moreover, the visitors can enjoy the services provided by a number of restaurants, a bar and a chalet of exquisite beauty situated at the top of the mountain (2.005 m. ). It is worth mentioning that Tria-Pente Pigadia is being chosen every year, during summertime, as the ideal place for the training of football teams. Asphalt paved roads leading to the Center, parking seats for more than 800 cars, tourist and athletic skiing slopes, races slopes, walk paths, climbing paths and the most excellent quality of snow, classify the Ski Center amongst the best wintry destinations. Moreover, one can find there slopes for beginners, slopes with a difficulty measure as well as race slopes with a length of 3,5-20 km. Five lifts, a double air chair, two sliding lifts and two baby lifts are completing the picture of the whole installation.
