Ancient Theater of Mieza

The theatre of Mieza was accidentally discovered in 1992 in a natural slope, and it probably belonged to the Macedonian city of Mieza. The cavea has 15 rows of seats carved in the rock, while the stage construction comprises the built proskenion with Doric semi-columns in the fa?ade and the stage. Its capacity is estimated at 1, 500 viewers. It is dated to the late Hellenistic times.
