The rock paintings in the area of Hilia Dentra in the village of Roussa are one of the unknown monuments of Thrace. They are engraved on rocks, some of which date back to prehistoric times between 1100 and 900 BC. These rock paintings depict hunting scenes, as well as symbols and geometric patterns associated with religious or ritual practices of the period. The area around the rock paintings offers unique natural beauty, with its dense forests and lush green landscapes.
