Castle of Pantokrator | Preveza

Pantokratoras Castle was built at the start of the 19th century by Ali Pasha, the ruler of Epirus. It is a pentagon with high perimeter walls, within which vaulted niches give onto the central courtyard. The castle was formerly used by the Hellenic state as a prison and a barracks. Nowadays, it serves as a host for cultural events.
