Monastery of Panagia Vlaherna

Several family members of Epirus’ Byzantine rulers are buried at the monastery of Panagia Vlacherna, at the village of the same name, including two sons of the queen consort, Agia Theodora. The church was built in the late 12th century and the frescoes were painted in the 13th century.
