War Museum of Thessaloniki

The War Museum is housed in one of the city’s historic buildings, at the rear of the 3rd Army Corps barracks, opposite the 424 General Army Hospital of Thessaloniki and was originally constructed in 1900-1901. The Museum has two large exhibition areas (1050 m2) on the first floor, as well as ten special display cases on the ground floor to accommodate other exhibits and relics. There is also a multiple-use, an amphitheatre, as well as a convenient reception area and an exhibition area ideal for accommodating events. The Museum offers facilities for other agencies wishing to organize temporary exhibitions, conferences, lectures and other events. Open: Tuesday-Friday 09:00-14:00, Saturday & Sunday 10:00-14:00. Closed on Mondays and bank holidays. Admission Free.
