The church of Agios Nikolaos of Kasnitzis is a one-room wooden church with a narthex, founded and decorated at the end of the 12th century by the Byzantine ruler Nikiphoros Kasnitzis, who was exiled in the city. The frescoes of the church are preserved in good condition.
