Tower of Ragio (Lygia)

The tower of Ragio, on the Lygia peninsula and near the former estuary of the Kalamas River, was built by an Ottoman officer in the 19th century. It stands on an ancient fortification of the 5th century BC at the archaeological site of Lygia, associated with the ancient Corcyraean colony of Torone.
