Tzintzirli Mosque | Serres

The Tzintzirli Mosque, one of the most important Ottoman monuments of Serres, dates back to the end of the 16th century. The mosque has a central, square prayer area, covered with a dome, and is surrounded by a two-storey portico with colonnades on the east, north and west sides. The minaret of the mosque does not survive today. In 2013, after almost a century, the Tzintzirli Mosque reopened its doors to the public.
