The church of Agia Theodora, queen consort and patron saint of Arta, at the 12th century church dedicated to her and where she is buried. The church was restored and frescoes added in the 13th century. Theodora was the wife of the Despot of Epirus, Michael II Komnenos Doukas, and was devoted to charitable works.
