For winter sports enthusiasts, the Vigla-Pisoderi Ski Centre is definitely the destination of a trip to the region. It is located 19 km from Florina and 2 km from Pisoderi, at an altitude of 1650 m to 2000 m. It is the only ski resort in Greece that is located on a national road, making access faster and easier as the road is always kept open. It has 9 pistes, 2 endurance roads and a snowmobile track. 9 of the tracks are of Olympic standard, suitable for all levels of ability. There are also 5 lifts: 2 two-seater aerial lifts, 1400 m & 2000 m long, 1 sliding two-seater lift and 2 baby lifts. It is equipped with snow rollers for paving the snow paths, cannons for creating artificial snow and there is a specially designed area for snowmobiles, with power supply. The beautiful landscape of the village, between the mountain ranges of Varnountas and Vernos and the surrounding forest with beech trees, makes the experience on the slopes even more unique.
