The beautiful village of Mikrolimni should definitely be one of the stops on your trip to Prespes. It is located on the eastern banks of the Mikri Prespa, 37 km from Florina and at an altitude of about 850 meters. The stunning nature, with the view of the lake is a captivating image that calms and relaxes. From here you can observe cormorants and other rare species of birds, as they fly carefree from their ‘base’ at Vidronissi. Walk along the path to the south, to emerge at the picturesque bay of Latsista. There are two churches in the village: the church of Agios Athanasios and the church of Agia Paraskevi with its painted iconostasis, which is located on the road from Mikrolimni to Oxia.
