Monastery of Pantanassa

The ruins of the Pantanassa monastery can be found near Filippiada. Its church was built in the mid-13th century by Despot Michael II Komnenos Doukas in a style influenced by Constantinople. Only the south chapel remains, dedicated to Agios Vasileios.
