A small lake near Margariti, the Kalodiki marsh is one of the important wetlands of Epirus. It is home to numerous migratory birds and considered to be a place “of great ecological and particular aesthetic value”. The lake is a wondrous sight in early summer, as the water lilies begin to bloom.
